NAB BRANCH RELATIONSHIP A WINNER FOR GOLD COAST

NAB has continued its ongoing support of the AFL Auskick program, building a close relationship with the AFL Gold Coast football community.

There have been many things happening through the NAB AFL Auskick program over the last six months, and the NAB have been there every step of the way.

NAB Southport branch has been assisting Gold Coast staff to promote the AFL Auskick program in their branch; they have presented NAB resource kits to schools and clubs in the region, and have also attended functions to show their ongoing support of the program.

The resource kits include portable goal post kits, football carry bags, handball targets, markers, whistles, yellow NAB footballs and the very popular tackle dummy that the Gold Coast AFL have named Desmond.

Gold Coast AFL Auskick Development Officer, Ryan Kogelman, believes that their region has an extremely productive relationship with NAB.

‘It is wonderful to have such a big organisation promote developing kids as young as five, especially in such an enjoyable and inspiring program like AFL Auskick,” he said. “We are very appreciative for all the assistance, resources and support NAB give us, to help young kids get active and have fun.”

Chris Hutton, the Business Banking Manager and Auskick Champion at the Southport branch, also believes that they have built a close relationship.

“We enjoy enormously the union with the Gold Coast staff, and have been assisting them in the promotion of the program through our branch,” Hutton said.

“We have also been out to schools and clubs to present resources, and have attended Rev Up sessions with other NAB representatives and AFL staff. NAB AFL Auskick is a fantastic program and it is great to see so many young kids enjoying such a great game.”
