Sue Stanley and the Coodabeen Champions launch ‘Good Health. Master it!’
The Coodabeen Champions and Sue Stanley will announce a new health and fitness program called ‘Good Health. Master it!’ on ABC Local Radio on Sunday 18 May at 7.30pm (AEST). The program is an initiative of the Confederation of Australian Sport (CAS) and the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.
The ‘Good Health. Master it!’ program aims to provide advice to thousands of Australians on their health and fitness in order to achieve long term health benefits. People are invited to complete an online survey which will provide feedback on their current health, fitness and well being. All those that complete the survey are offered a health and fitness program developed by Sue Stanley. “I encourage you all to get involved in the ‘Good Health. Master it!’ program. Why not use the program to find out more about your state of health. No matter what level of fitness you are, the 12th Australian Masters Games is the perfect goal to train towards. Why not give it a go and start living an active healthy life? My motto is you should step through life with confidence, inspire the people you love, start each day with passion – therefore complete the online survey at www.AustralianMastersGames.com”, stated Sue Stanley.
A selected group of survey respondents will be eligible to receive free Games and Sport entry fees to the 12th Australian Masters Games, which are being held in Geelong from 20 February – 1 March 2009. The Australian Masters Games is Australia’s largest multisport festival which attracts over 10,000 people aged 30 years and over to take part in more than 60 sports. Sue Stanley (former Triple World Aerobic Champion, Olympic Gymnast, Olympic Water Skier and Ms Fitness!) and the Coodabeen’s are Games Ambassadors. They join an extensive list of Games Ambassadors including, Frank Costa, Mark Beretta, Simone McKinnis, Russell Mark, Billy Brownless and Games Patron John Landy. The Coodabeen Champions consist of Ian Cover, Jeff Richardson, Billy Baxter and Greg Champion. Their regular show on ABC Local Radio on Sunday night will feature Sue Stanley as special guest announcing the program and how to get involved in the 12th Australian Masters Games.
