The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) will host more than 200 stakeholders involved in community and high performance sport at two forums in the coming weeks to consider the future of sport in Australia.

Sport leaders gather to consider the future of Australian sport

The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) will host more than 200 stakeholders involved in community and high performance sport at two forums in the coming weeks to consider the future of sport in Australia.

Directors of state institutes and academies of sport, and Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association officials will gather to discuss the future of elite sport in Australia as part of the Commission’s consultation process in developing recommendations to go forward to the independent panel reviewing sport.

Sport Development
In jour Press release 03 October 2008 there is mention of the ASC hosting 200 stake holders in in Two community and hight performance forums. Has the Gliding federation of Australia been included in this List. Australia ha competed in World Gliding Competitions since 1952 and have one pilot who has one 4 of these events and another who has one one. At the moment we have another pilot who is the current third place getter in the lates Club Class World Championships, Australia has held 3 world Gliding Champions in Australai and is currently bidding for a fourth where we expext130 gliders and their pilot to be competing every day for two weeks. GFA is a member of the Australian Sports Commission.
